csvtool software package provides handy command line tool for handling CSV files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install csvtool
csvtool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the csvtool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep csvtool *
You will get with csvtool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
